What we offer
Black Hose Lodge caters for riders of all ages. Specialising in Western and English riding styles, we aim to provide riders with the skills they need to succeed in the show ring or to just enjoy the sport as a hobby.
From Equestrian disciplines in both English and Western to dressage and ranch riding, our lessons are tailored to suit you and your horse’s individual needs. This includes ground training, handling, acceptance of objects to build a relationship of trust.
Lessons are available Tuesday to Sunday (excluding Christmas and New Years Day).
BHL no longer provides horses for lessons all clients are required to have their own horse.

Booking & Cancellation Policy
A 50% deposit is required on confirmation of all bookings (this includes all lessons, Kid’s Club, Kid’s Camp and the Indoor Arena Hire).
If you cancel a lesson or service this fee will only be refundable if you place is re-booked. We will do all we can to refill the position, however if we are unable to, the deposit will not be refunded.
If you cancel a lesson or service less that 24 hours before commencement the deposit will not be refunded.
